Cannabis-Infused Simple Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 gram cannabis (decarboxylated)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Add the decarboxylated cannabis to the saucepan and stir to combine.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Be sure to stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  4. After 20-25 minutes, remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any plant matter.
  6. Transfer the infused simple syrup to a glass jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
