Cannabis Ice Cream Recipe

Here's a recipe for cannabis-infused ice cream:


  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup cannabis-infused butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture is hot but not boiling. Remove from heat.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks until they become slightly thickened.
  3. Gradually pour about half of the hot cream mixture into the bowl with the egg yolks, whisking constantly to prevent the eggs from curdling.
  4. Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining cream mixture and return to medium heat.
  5. Cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes. Do not let it boil.
  6. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the melted cannabis-infused butter and vanilla extract until well combined.
  7. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then cover it and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to chill thoroughly.
  8. Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  9. Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for a few hours or until firm.
  10. Serve the cannabis-infused ice cream in bowls or cones, and enjoy responsibly.

Note: It's important to label the container clearly to prevent accidental consumption by others. Start with a small serving of ice cream and wait for the effects before consuming more. Be aware of the potency of your cannabis-infused butter and adjust the serving size accordingly.
